The Briarwood Christian School girls’ tennis team swept Moody 9-0 in high school tennis action April 2.

Griffin Russell of Briarwood Christian defeated Jeremy McIntosh of Moody 8-4 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Russell Hancock of Briarwood Christian defeated Cody Siddens of Moody 8-0 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Lukas Castellanos of Briarwood Christian defeated Andrew Blair of Moody 8-1 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Connor Brewton of Briarwood Christian defeated Clay Freeman of Moody 8-0 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Briarwood Christian won the No. 5 singles’ match and No. 6 singles’ match by forfeit.

Russell and Hancock defeated McIntosh and Siddens 8-1 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Philip Taylor and Daniel Kuyk of Briarwood Christian defeated Blair and Freeman 8-0 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Briarwood Christian won the No. 3 doubles’ match by forfeit.

Ann Ellison Tarrence of Briarwood Christian defeated Morgan Keith of Moody 8-4 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Lauren Bowers of Briarwood Christian defeated Sam Schillaci of Moody 8-0 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Sellers Mulvaney of Briarwood Christian defeated Gretchen Newton of Moody 8-0 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Ashton Henderson of Briarwood Christian defeated Vanessa White of Moody 8-0 in the No. 6 singles’ match.
