The Vincent High School softball team edged Fultondale 7-5 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 2A, Area 10 contest April 5.

Tori Cato led the Yellow Jackets offensively as she finished 3-for-4 at the plate with a double. Cato drove in four runs in the victory.

Courtney Holston earned the win in the circle after giving up five earned runs on 12 hits with four strikeouts and three walks in a complete-game victory.
