The Vincent High School baseball team defeated Fultondale 7-1 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 2A, Area 10 contest April 6.

Zac Baucom led the Yellow Jackets offensively as he finished 2-for-4 at the plate with a double. Baucom drove in two runs in the victory.

Daniel Hawkins, who drove in two runs and scored one run, went 2-for-4 at the plate. Kade Carroll, who drove in two runs and scored two runs, finished 2-for-3 at the plate. Andrew Whitfield finished 1-for-3 at the plate and scored one run.

D.J. Brasher earned the win on the mound after giving up one run on three hits with 12 strikeouts and one walk in a complete-game victory.
