Westminster claims section title

The Westminster School at Oak Mountain boys’ soccer team defeated Holy Spirit 2-0 in high school soccer action April 19 to claim an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 4A-1A section championship.
Jack Stein and Garrett Smith led the Knights (18-0-1) with two goals each in the victory.
Whitten Green and David York finished with one assist each in the win.
Westminster goalkeeper Jake Doggett registered two saves as he posted his 10th shutout of the season.
