Lions defeat Tuscaloosa Academy

The Kingwood Christian School softball team defeated Tuscaloosa Academy 11-6 in high school softball action April 21.
Katie McElroy led the Lions offensively as she finished 3-for-4 at the plate. McElroy also scored one run in the win.
Kaylyn Ingram finished 2-for-4 at the plate with a homer and a double. Ingram drove in one run and scored two runs.
Madeline Lee, who drove in one run and scored one run, finished 1-for-5 at the plate with a homer. Karley Chamblee finished 2-for-5 at the plate with a double. Caroline Clark also finished 2-for-5 at the plate.
Ingram earned the win after giving up six runs, including five earned runs, on eight hits with eight strikeouts and two walks in a complete-game victory.
