The Alabaster Board of Education will hold its next meeting on Monday, May 14, and will hold its regular monthly meetings on the second Monday of each month, said school board member Adam Moseley.
The meetings will begin at 6 p.m. at the Alabaster Senior Center, which is off Alabama 119 on the old Siluria mill site.
In addition to its meetings every second Monday of the month, the board likely will also have a few work sessions a month, board members previously said. By law, the school board can only vote on matters during regular meetings.
The school board’s monthly meetings will not conflict with the Alabaster City Council’s regular meetings, which are held on the first and third Mondays of the month.
