A pair of Shelby County Aliant Bank branches recently donned a new look as part of the Alabama-based company’s statewide rebranding project.

Over the next few weeks, new signs will be going up at the Aliant Bank locations in the Meadow Brook Corporate Park off U.S. 280 and in Alabaster’s Colonial Promenade shopping center.

The new logos replaced signs designed when the Aliant name was created in 1984.

“The rebranding process started with consumer focus groups in Birmingham and Montgomery, where groups talked about the importance of working with a bank that sees itself as a true partner with its customers, succeeding only through their success,” read an Aliant press release.

The new branding is being created in partnership with Birmingham-based HipBrand Group, one of the Southeast’s top branding agencies.

“We are very excited about our new look, and how this new brand reflects our roots while also conveying our modern, service-oriented approach,” said Harlan C. Parrish, CEO of Aliant Bank. “That said, nothing is changing in terms of our local decision-making and our focus on helping customers in Alabama. That remains constant, and is the key to our success.”
