Richard Wesley Franks, 77, of Columbus, Miss. passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Visitation will be Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 2-3 p.m. at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, Miss. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel, Columbus, Miss. Mr. Franks was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Shackelford, of the University of Montevallo.
