One Nineteen book club gets plugged in with TV star

GREYSTONE — A local book club will welcome Jane Lynch, star of TV’s “Glee,” to its June 5 meeting via phone.
Chapter One Nineteen, a book club that meets at St. Vincent’s One Nineteen, will discuss Lynch’s 2011 memoir, “Happy Accidents,” during its June 5 meeting. Lynch will call in during the meeting to share details from the book, according to Lauren Thomason, a spokesperson for St. Vincent’s One Nineteen.
Lynch portrays cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester on “Glee,” and has appeared in numerous other TV shows, such as “Two and a Half Men,” and movies, such as “Talladega Nights,” “Role Models” and “A Mighty Wind.”
The event, which will start at 7 p.m., is free to attend and is open to the public. Anyone interested in attending should call 408-6550 by June 3 to register.
St. Vincent’s One Nineteen is located at 7191 Cahaba Valley Road.
