Fulmer named second team all-region

University of Montevallo sophomore second baseman Will Fulmer was named second team All-Southeast Region by the American Baseball Coaches Association.

This is Fulmer’s third second team All-Region selection this season after being named second team by the NCBWA and Daktronics.

Fulmer hit .361 with 51 runs scored, 16 doubles, a homerun and 28 RBI. He had a .447 slugging percentage and a .443 on-base percentage. He was 7-of-10 in stolen bases and set the Peach Belt Conference record for hits in a season for conference games only.

Fulmer was named first team All-Conference. He ranks in the top-10 in the conference in hits, at bats, runs, doubles, hit by pitches, batting average and on-base percentage. He tied the UM All-Time Record for hits in a game earlier this season with five against Armstrong. He also ranks 12th in the NCAA in hits.
