Betty Jean Lawley

Betty Jean Lawley, age 69, of Centreville, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at her home. She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Hannah Bass and Lance Lawley; her parents; three sisters; and one brother.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Eugene Lawley; sons, Larry Lawley (Sissy) and Tim Lawley (Tammy); daughters, Mary Ann Benton (Kelvin), Debbie Bass (Rodger-deceased) and April Polk (Robert); brothers, Louis Whitfield, Kenneth Whitfield and Floyd Whitfield; half brothers, Randall Whitfield and Terry Whitfield; half sister, Beverly Anne Gann; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 22, 2012 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel Montevallo. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Lawley Family Cemetery in Brierfield with Rev. Louis Whitfield officiating.
