Mark Allen Cobb, age 51, of Birmingham, died July 7, 2012. He is survived by his partner, Timothy M. Liptak; son, Matthew Adam Cobb (Kim); daughter, Mary Elizabeth Eddings (Kevin); grandchildren, Mason Adam Cobb and Ava Lynn Eddings; former wife, Lucy Childress Blake; sister, Janice Stone (Bob); nephew, David Stone (Krista); niece, Amy Atchison (Michael); great-nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Mary Evelyn and Rebekah Stone, and Zachary and Elizabeth Atchison; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. Rascoe and Mary Cobb; and brother, Milton Cobb.

The Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 15 at 6 p.m. at Baptist Church of the Covenant, 2117 University Blvd., with visitation beginning at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to The Rogers Benevolence Fund at Baptist Church of the Covenant.
