Shelby County 47, also known as Chelsea Road, will be closed at the intersection of Shelby County 39 on Aug. 16 while a railroad crossing is repaired.

Repairs will begin at 9 a.m. and are expected to be completed the same day if weather permits. Once repairs are complete, the roadway should be reopened for normal traffic.

Detours will be available on Liberty Road, Shelby County 433 and Shelby County 39.
