The Montevallo High School volleyball team defeated Thorsby 25-18, 21-25, 25-17, 25-12 in high school volleyball action Aug. 27.

Megan Draper led the Bulldogs (4-2) with eight kills in the victory.

Sarah Hyde added a team-high 15 service aces and 11 digs. Isabella Howell contributed a team-high 10 assists in the win.

Odalys Gallo sparked Montevallo in the final two games with three service aces and six assists.

Montevallo hosts Leeds in its first home match of the season Aug. 30.
