The Kingwood Christian School volleyball team defeated Eastwood Christian 25-19, 22-25, 25-22, 28-30, 15-13 in high school volleyball action Aug. 28.

Madelyn Pearce led the Lions with 12 kills in the victory. Pearce also contributed five service aces.

Katie Allen Etheridge added nine kills, three blocks and one service ace. Blair Holsombeck chipped in four kills and two service aces to go along with a team-high 22 assists.
