Alabaster resident Mike Seales was recognized Aug. 19 by the Shelby County, Alabama Cahaba-Coosa Chapter of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution with a medal and certificate for recognition of the “Emergency Medical Services” Award.

The recognition was made by 2012 Cahaba-Coosa Chapter President Rick Booth.

“It is very rare that anyone that works in the health care field gets any type of recoginition or thanks,” Seales said. “I am very honored to receive this award.”
