HOOVER — Jefferson State Community College staff and students will don pink T-shirts Oct. 24 for the third annual Pink Day to honor breast cancer awareness month.

The college’s Students in Free Enterprise team will sell T-shirts in advance of Pink Day. Booths will be located on both the Shelby-Hoover and Jefferson campuses.

Other merchandise, such as caps, ribbons, backpacks and wristbands will be sold. A large portion of the profits will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the world’s largest nonprofit funder of breast cancer research.
