HOMEWOOD – The Briarwood Christian volleyball team battled back from a close second set loss to take a 3-1 (25-19, 25-27, 25-13, 25-18) victory at Homewood on Oct. 9.

Josie Slaughter led Briarwood with seven kills while Madison Chambers added six kills. Adeline Reiser had 13 assists and 13 digs. Hope Donohue led the Lions’ defense with 21 digs with a team-high five aces. Georgia Muir-Taylor had two blocks.

Briarwood will return to action at Thompson on Oct. 11.
