Milton Ray Horton, age 69, of Jemison, passed away on Oct. 11, 2012. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Oct. 13 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with burial in Williams Cemetery. The body will lay-in-state one hour prior to the service at the church. Visitation will be Oct. 12 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana from 6-8 p.m.

Mr. Horton is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Carrie Dale Horton; brothers, Marvin and Charles; sisters, Myra and Peggy. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Dawson Horton; son, George Ray Horton (Teresa); daughter, Amanda Horton (Terrence); step-sons, Randy Stalling (Amanda) and James Nelvin Crim; grandchildren, Devin Scott (Leslie), Lake Scott, James Crim Jr. (Crystal) and Jerome Walton (Debra); great-grandchildren, Jarratt Scott and Emily Smitherman; sisters, Gay Beasley (Buddy) and Jean Reynolds; brothers, Billy Horton (Margaret) and Frank Horton; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
