MONTEVALLO-Region champion Leeds flexed its muscle against Montevallo beating the Bulldogs, 36-0 at Montevallo on Oct. 26.
“It was a tough game,” Montevallo coach Andrew Zow said.”Defense played well and got after them good. We gave up a touchdown right before the half that kind of gave them all the momentum. Kids played hard and if we make a play here or there you never know.”
Trevor Chatham was 3-of-15 passing for 26 yards and an interception. Ronezz Stevens led the Bulldogs with 76 yards on 12 attempts. Demetrouse Conwell was the leading receiver with one catch for 24 yards.
