Two Falcons chosen to conference men’s soccer All-Academic team

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Two members of the University of Montevallo men’s soccer team were chosen to the Peach Belt Conference All-Academic team Nov. 7.

Junior midfielder Jackson Tolleson and sophomore forward Giuliano Frano were each named to the All-Academic squad.

In addition to Tolleson and Frano, seniors Stephen Beatty and Shane Howard were each selected Peach Belt Conference All-Academic honorable mention.

Tolleson was named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Academic team for the second year in a row. The Katy, Texas native is a business major and owns a 3.41 grade-point average. Tolleson was also named a Silver Scholar on the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll as a sophomore in 2011 after being named a Bronze Scholar as a freshman in 2009.

Frano, a Mississauga, Ontario native, is a business major and owns a 3.68 grade-point average. Frano was named a Silver Scholar on the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll last season.

Beatty, a Mandeville, La. native, is a management major, while Howard, a County Carlow, Ireland native, is majoring in kinesiology.
