Mrs. Darline M. Barber, age 95, of Calera, passed away Nov. 17, 2012. She was a charter member of Palmdale United Methodist Church in Palmdale, Calif., and a current member of Shiloh United Methodist Church in Calera.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Cheri Brown; and grandson, Jim Brown. She is survived by son-in-law, James Brown of Calera; stepson, Jim Barber (Julie) of Longmont, Colo.; step-daughter, Linda Schuman of Citrus Heights, Calif.; two grandsons, Russell Brown (Joni) of Alabaster and Shawn Brown (April) of Alabaster; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Calera. Her visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church and interment will be at Shelby Memory Gardens. Rockco Funeral home directing; RockcoFuneralHomes.com.
