AUGUSTA, Ga. – University of Montevallo senior Betsy Stevenson was named to the Peach Belt Conference volleyball All-Academic team, which was released Dec. 6.

Four other members of the Montevallo volleyball team were named All-Academic team honorable mention, including senior Jordan Spinks, juniors Michelle Carle and Kaleigh Harvey and sophomore Brianna Guzinski.

Stevenson, a DeFuniak Springs, Fla. native, is a biology major and owns a 3.92 cumulative grade-point average. Stevenson is scheduled to graduate with a biology degree in the spring of 2013.

Spinks, a Danville, Ala. native, is scheduled to graduate with a degree in art in summer 2013.

Carle, a Sugar Land, Texas native, is a speech pathology major at the University of Montevallo. Harvey, a Katy, Texas native, is a biology major.

Guzinski, a Jacksonville, Fla. native, is undecided on a major.
