Terri James Blume, 36, of Alabaster, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 13, 2012.

Terri was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She had an incredible love for her family, friends and life. She spent her life giving to and caring for others. She would spend 24 hours a day doing 26 hours of work to give to and help others. She loved the color pink. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and joy.

She is survived by her parents, Lige and Mattie James of Birmingham; son, Trey Searcy of Alabaster; grandson, Terry Jayce Ma’leeke Searcy; husband, Robert Aaron; sister-in-law, Lyn Aaron of Alabaster; sisters, Deborah Linard (Steve), Judy Reno (Dale), Sheila Shelnutt (Rodney), Suzie Morey (Mike), Kathy Carroll and Janet Anderson (Erik); brother, Buster James (Cynthia); uncle, Roy Bunn of Parrish; special cousins, Tommy Bunn and Shirley Miller; a host of nieces and nephews; and her precious dogs, Gracie, Emily and Sadie.

Visitation was Dec. 17 from 6-8 p.m. with chapel service on Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home, 3715 Highway 25 South, Montevallo. Burial was at Ryan’s Cemetery in Montevallo with services officiated by Pastor Mark Correll.
