Braves to make stop in Shelby County

The Atlanta Braves Country Caravan will make a stop in Shelby County on Feb. 1 as a part of its two-week tour of the Southeast.
Braves players, coaches, broadcasters and front office staff will travel nearly 3,000 miles to meet and greet fans prior to Spring Training, according to a press release.
Braves’ left-handed pitcher Eric O’Flaherty, left-hander Mike Minor and bullpen coach Eric Perez are scheduled to be at the Academy Sports and Outdoors at 310 Doug Baker Blvd to sign autographs Feb. 1. The signing will be held from 4-5:30 p.m.
The tour began Jan. 26 with stops in Montgomery and Auburn and will conclude Feb. 2 with stops in Valdosta and Warner Robins, Ga.
“The Braves Country Caravan provides the opportunity to engage fans with players, coaches and broadcasters to create lasting memories in each of its stops,” the release stated.
