Samuel “Kenny” Whitten, age 61, of Vincent, passed away on Jan. 27, 2013.

Visitation will be held Jan. 30 from 6-9 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home. Service will be held Jan. 31 at 11 a.m. at Kilgroe Chapel. Internment will be in Macedonia North Cemetery, Vincent.

He is preceded in death by his father, Sam Whitten. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Whitten of Vincent; sister, Key Lenn of Harpersville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a member of I.U.O.E. Local #312, employed with Steel City Crane in Birmingham and was a Vietnam Naval veteran.
