Falcons add four men’s cross country student-athletes

MONTEVALLO – The University of Montevallo men’s cross country team added four student-athletes on National Signing Day.
The newest members of the men’s cross country squad include Crawford Conrad, Donny Barnes, Jordan Strong and Levi Dorsett.
Conrad will join the Falcons as a freshman out of Lawton Chiles High School in Tallahassee, Fla. Chiles, who ran a personal 5K best in 16:47, helped his high school team win a District 2-3A Championship.
Barnes will enter Montevallo as a freshman out of Buckhorn High School in Huntsville, Ala. Barnes, who recorded a personal 5K best in 16:15, won the 1,600-meter run in the Martin Luther King Indoor Track and Field Classic during indoorseason.
Strong will join the Falcons as a freshman out of Spain Park High School in Hoover, Ala. Strong, who placed seventh overall in individual standings at the State Championship meet, ran a personal 5K best in 16:25.
Dorsett will enter Montevallo as a freshman out of Saint Clair County High School in Odenville, Ala. Dorsett, who owns a personal 5K record time of 18:16, placed fourth overall in individual standings in both the 400-meter dash and 800-meter run at the Indoor Track and Field State Championship meet.
