The Calera Eagles softball team wrapped up play in the Northside tournament with a 5-1 victory over Oak Grove March 2.

Calera took a 2-0 lead after three innings of play before sealing the win with three runs in the top of the seventh. Charley Clark led the Eagles batting 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs. Shelby Clark added a 2-for-4 effort with two runs scored. Emily Sanders pitched seven innings in the win while allowing one run on four hits with four strikeouts.

The Eagles began the tournament with a 2-0 loss to Cordova and a 7-0 loss to Northridge.
