The Chelsea Hornets were unable to get the bats going in a 3-0 loss to Mountain Brook March 8.

The Hornets’ Tripp Hobbs held Mountain Brook to three runs on three hits in six and two-thirds innings with two strikeouts and two walks.

Hobbs went 1-for-3 with a double to lead Chelsea at the plate. Davis Shoemaker added a 1-for-3 effort.
