The March 11 Alabaster Board of Education meeting will be held at the Alabaster Municipal Annex, not the usual Alabaster Senior Center venue.

The Municipal Annex is behind the Alabaster City Hall building off U.S. 31, and the meeting is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

According to a tentative agenda, the meeting will begin with the “Good Things Within our Schools” segment, which recognizes local student and teacher achievements.

The School Board is also scheduled to vote on adopting a BOE code of conduct, on a recommendation to allow Alexander and Company to handle school system employee optional benefits and is set to hear a presentation from the Alabaster YMCA.

The agenda also includes a vote on personnel matters, a resolution allowing Interim Superintendent Dr. Phillip Hammonds to expend funds and a vote on approving a financial report of expenditures.
