Ann Carden Edwards, age 66, of Calera, passed away on March 22, 2013. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on March 25 at Calera Baptist Church with Rev. Craig Ormsby, Hal Warren and Stephen Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be on March 24 from 6-8 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Edwards is preceded in death by her father, Carl T. “Shorty” Carden; and her sister, Debbie Carden. She is survived by her husband, James Ellwood Edwards; daughters, Emily Dunkling (Mike) and Amelia Ormsby (Craig); sons, Jim “Jimbo” Edwards (Misty) and Tipton Edwards (Heather); mother, Bertie “Blondie” Carden; brothers, Wafford “Bubba” Carden (Kay) and Buddy Carden (Glenda); 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
