The Spain Park Jaguars improved to 3-2 in pool play at the 2013 Baptist Health System Hoover Bucs Spring Break Classic with a 6-1 victory over Brentwood (Tenn.) March 27.

The Jaguars (15-11) took a 2-0 lead after two innings, and then struck for three runs in the fifth. Will McDonald hit a solo home run in the seventh to seal the 6-1 victory.

Tyler Wise pitched three innings and allowed a run on four hits with a strikeout and a walk. Parker Hall pitched four innings and struck out two batters in the save.

McDonald finished the game batting 1-for-3 with a RBI. Grant Veteto, Josh Rich, Payton Walsh and Hall each had a hit and a RBI in the victory.
