You are cordially invited to a Princess Tea Party with special guest Miss Shelby County 2013 Jamie Brooks this Saturday, April 6, 2013, at the Columbiana Public Library from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Princesses and princes of all ages – come dressed up in your medieval finery or come as you are – for a very special day. Brooks will read her favorite book “Oh the Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Seuss and speak about making good decisions and following your dreams. Refreshments will be served.

Brooks graduated from Troy University debt free from scholarships earned though the Miss America Scholarship Organization, the largest scholarship provider for young women in the world. Brooks will crown her successor, Miss Shelby County 2014 on Friday, July 19, 2013, at Shelby County High School. The Miss Shelby County Pageant is sponsored by the Vignette Club of Shelby County.
