The Vincent Yellow Jackets softball team exploded for 14 hits in an 18-3 area victory over Victory Christian in three innings April 9.

Vincent (12-8) scored seven runs in the second after leading by two runs at the end of the first. The Yellow Jackets added six runs in the third to seal the mercy-rule win.

Courtney Barber held Victory to three runs on four hits with two walks.

Destanie Howard went 2-for-4 with three RBIs while Ashleigh McCloud was 1-for-3 with three RBIs.
