The Briarwood Christian Lions ended Class 5A, Area 9 play with a 10-0 victory over John Carroll April 12.

Barnes Bankston led Briarwood pitching five scoreless innings and allowed two hits with three strikeouts and a walk.

Will Dyson led Briarwood with a 2-for-4 effort with three RBIs. Wes Hardin batted 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs.
