The Chelsea Hornets softball team was unable to hold on to an early lead when Hewitt-Trussville rallied with three unanswered runs for a 5-4 win in eight innings April 16.

Chelsea (9-20) took a 4-2 lead in the third, but Hewitt responded with runs in the sixth, seventh, and eighth to take the win.

Caiti Davis took the loss while pitching seven and a third innings and allowing three earned runs on six hits. McKenzie Bryant went 2-for-3 with a double and a RBI to lea Chelsea.
