Ila V. Young, age 82, of Calera, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013.

She was the daughter of the late Frank Isom and Anna Grace Washington. Her survivors include her daughters, Dianne Simmons (Joe) and Debbie Littleton (Jerry); grandchildren, Christy Stiff (Billy), Misty Ray (Shannon), Katrina Brasher (James), Brandon Littleton (Andrea) and Heather Sewell (Denny); and thirteen great-grandchildren.

The family received friends at Charter Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. on April 8. A funeral service was held on April 9 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment was in Shelby Memory Gardens. Pastor Ronnie Walton officiated.
