The Calera Eagles softball team scored five runs in the third and eight in the fifth to take a 14-2 victory over Homewood April 17.

The Eagles (20-10-1) were led by Kymber McGiboney’s 3-for-3 performance with a double, two RBIs and three runs. Charley Clark added a 2-for-2 effort with a double, RBI and a run.

Emily Sanders pitched five innings for the win and allowed on earned run on six hits with a strikeout and two walks.
