Phillip Wayne Shew, of Vincent, born on July 21, 1947, in Gadsden, passed away Thursday morning, April 18, 2013, at his home in Vincent, surrounded by family and friends. He was a retired member of the Union of International Operating Engineers, Local 312 out of Birmingham and was a deacon at Calvary Baptist Church in Vincent. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; daughter, Samantha Leigh; son, Ben; daughter-in-law, Andrea; as well as two grandchildren, Amber and Rebecca.
