William Lloyd Bearden

Mr. William Lloyd Bearden, age 86, of Ashville, passed away on April 22, 2013, in Pell City.

Mr. Bearden was a member of the Forestdale Volunteer Fire Department. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his son, James William “Billy” Bearden; by his twin brother, James Floyd Bearden; and sister, Lorene Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Bearden; son, Steve Bearden; sisters, Gloria Paxton, Pat Calvert, Wanda Aldridge and Linda Foster; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on April 24 at Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Marlin Cox and Rev. Charlie Nichols officiating. Visitation will be held on April 23 from 5-8 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City.
