The Montevallo softball team defeated Homewood 7-6 at Homewood April 23.

Kaley Kornegay pitched for Montevallo (19-12-1) earning the win with four strikeouts and giving up minimal hits.

Kaley had two singles and a double to lead Montevallo. Megan Dockery had two singles and a home run. Erin Draper and Lacey Hamrick each contributed with two hits.
