Chelsea rallies past Shelby County

The Chelsea Hornets softball team mounted a comeback from a 4-run deficit through five innings to claim an 11-7 win over the Shelby County Ladycats April 25.
Caiti Davis pitched seven innings and allowed seven runs on seven hits with eight strikeouts and a walk in the win for Chelsea. Mallory Bradford went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs and Jordan Gray added a 2-for-4 effort with two RBIs.
Kaitlyn Paschall took the loss for Shelby County allowing five earned runs on 10 hits with seven strikeouts and a walk. Paschall went 2-for-4 for Shelby County with a home run and four RBIs. Brianna Buie finished 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs.
