Willard Tulon James, age 77, of Montevallo, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013. He served in the United States Air Force, was a loving husband, wonderful father, was a faithful member of Union Springs Baptist Church in Randolph and worked hard in construction his entire life. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean Joyce James; son, Kenneth Dwayne James; and parents, William C. and Grace Rice James.

His survivors include his sons, Kevin James (Melissa), Edward James and William James; brothers, Winston James (Ann), Hillard James, Daniel James (Bonnie) and Ondus James; grandchildren, Kenneth Scott James (Rachael), Shawn James, Kimberly James Hickey (Ryan) and Kayley James; and great-grandchildren, Peyton Hickey, Makayla James and Jacob James.

The family received friends from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on April 17 at Charter Funeral Home with a funeral service which followed at 1:30 p.m. at the home. A committal service with Honors was at Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, at 2:45 p.m. the same day. Reverend Steve Johnson officiated.
