Cornerstone Christian hit with obscene vandalism

COLUMBIANA — Cornerstone Christian School was struck by vandalism sometime between final bell May 1 and first bell May 2, as obscene markings were found on the back of the school’s field house.
“It was graffiti,” said school director Jay Adams. “It was an extremely classy anatomical representation.”
The perpetrators used black spray paint, and Adams said football coach Bill Drinkard discovered the graffiti between 6:45-7 a.m. May 2.
Adams said the school filed a report with the Columbiana Police Department May 2, but had no real leads going forward.
“It’s been happening around town,” he said. “I can’t imagine it being one of our own students.”
Adams said a student reported seeing three black cars near the school when Wednesday night church services ended around 8:30 p.m. on May 1.
If anyone has any information about the incident, contact the school at 669-7777.
