Thompson High School senior John Thompson signed a letter of intent May 14 with Point University in West Point, Ga. Thompson, a defensive end for the Warriors, ended his senior season with seven sacks, 62 solo tackles and 15 tackles for loss. Thompson is the son of Cindy Thompson, and graduated with a 3.5 GPA.
