CHELSEA—Chelsea will celebrate Independence Day with The Big Kaboom on July 3 at Chelsea Park.
The event is free and offers family-friendly fun, said Chelsea Earl Niven.
Live entertainment will begin at 8 p.m. There will be bands, singers, cheerleaders and a magician. The cheerleaders will lead patriotic cheers before the fireworks.
Multiple food vendors will be providing barbecue, pizza, chicken, shaved ice and smoothies, and Pepsi is sponsoring free drinks throughout the evening.
The fireworks will end the night around 9:30 p.m. after the live entertainment.
“If you can see the water tank from where you’re sitting, there is a 50-yard view of fireworks,” Niven said. “Come out early, find a spot in the park, have a little picnic and enjoy the fireworks.”
