Amos A. Bentley, age 59, of Alabaster, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on July 26 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Rev. Ken Stroup officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on July 25 at Bolton Funeral Home.

Amos was an avid deer hunter and was a member of the Church of God and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Martha Bentley; son, Shane Wheeler and daughter-in-law, Sherry Lynn Wheeler; grandchildren, Josh and Michael Wheeler; sister, Sue Ann Keith; numerous nieces and nephews; and all friends from Waffle House and Mule Head Hunting Club.
