Suspect in Four Mile allegedly involved in theft

FOUR MILE – Shelby County Sheriff’s deputies are still looking for a suspect in the Four Mile area who fled from deputies Aug. 26. According to a Shelby County Sheriff’s Office press release sent Aug. 29, the suspect may have been involved in the theft of several pick-up trucks, a tractor and a trailer.

Deputies pursued the suspect after receiving an anonymous tip Aug. 26 about there being stolen property at a residence in the 200 block of Meadow Crest Farm. After arriving at the property, investigators noticed a stolen truck and tractor on the property , the press release said. Investigators obtained a search warrant for the property and later found a total of four stolen pick-up trucks, one tractor and a trailer.

The owner of the property, Eric Lynn Vining, 39, of Wilsonville, has since been arrested, although the fleeing suspect has not yet been found. Vining is being held in the Shelby County Hail on four counts of receiving stolen property first degree and bonds totaling $120,000, according to the press release.
