Monta Faye Bearden, age 77, of Vincent, passed away on Sept. 7, 2013. Mrs. Bearden was preceded in death by her parents, M. F. and Florrea Brown; daughter, Phyllis Annette; and granddaughter, Olivia Louise Bearden.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ralph W. Bearden; brother, Phillip Brown (Ann); sons, Randy Bearden and Wayne Bearden (Tami); daughters, Cindy Carroll (Jeff) and Ramona Martin (Mark); 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a loving extended family and many close friends.

The family would like to thank Dr. H. Andrew Wilson for his compassionate care of Mrs. Bearden over the past 21 years.

Services will be held on Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. at CurrieJefferson Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
