Those looking to safely dispose of confidential and business documents will have a chance to do so at the Pelham Public Library on Oct. 5.
From 8 a.m.-noon, the library will team with the Cintas company to offer a free shred event designed to give residents a chance to get rid of sensitive documents. The Pelham Library is next to Pelham City Hall off U.S. 31.
“From drop-off to destruction, all documents will be constantly monitored and protected,” read a library press release.
During the event, the Cintas shredding truck will be parked in front of the library ready to shred documents on site.
Each participant is limited to six boxes of documents during the event, and CDs and DVDs are not accepted.
For more information, call the library at 620-6418.
